Curved mouthpiece with upward curve and jointed barrel in centre. Entire mouthpiece is tilted forward.
This mouthpiece comes into play when the horse is not relaxed at the poll, it restricts the tongue and puts downward pressure on the bars, once the horse is relaxed at the poll the pressure comes off the tongue and works off the bars. This mouthpiece offers Independant Side Movement. This is a good choice for bending, lifting a horse which gets behind the bit, horses that have large tongues and/or no brakes! This mouthpiece turns solid when equal rein pressure is applied to both reins.
